Official Business Name
Desktop Haven Way is the registered business name under which we operate. We were established in 2019 in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, to address a gap we observed among local holders of cold-storage wallet materials: multiple physical backup sites with no central register tying them together.
How We Began
Our founder, Min-seok Han, spent twelve years in bank records management before encountering repeated cases where families could not locate authorised duplicates of hardware wallet backups after a death or incapacity. Existing estate folders listed bank accounts but omitted sealed envelopes in safety deposit boxes, home safes, and relatives’ residences.
Desktop Haven Way was formed to provide structured, human-maintained registers that document where each duplicate resides, who last verified it, and what changed between reviews — without ever requesting seed phrases or private keys.
Our Approach
We work from paper and bound ledgers supplemented by encrypted local records. Each engagement produces a duplicate-backup location register listing site identifiers, access conditions, and authorised viewers. Parallel audit trails capture every verification visit, envelope reseal, or site addition.
We do not sell software subscriptions or manage wallets on behalf of clients. Our deliverable is documentation you can hand to a solicitor, executor, or authorised family member.
