How Desktop Haven Way collects, uses, and protects personal data under Republic of Korea privacy standards.
1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect
Website visitors: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookie preferences (see our Cookie Policy).
Contact form submissions: Name, email, selected service, project scope, and message content.
Service clients: Names, contact details, backup site descriptions (without key material), authorised viewer information, verification dates, and payment records.
We never request or store seed phrases, private keys, or wallet recovery words.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process data to respond to inquiries, deliver register services, maintain audit trails, issue invoices, comply with legal obligations, and improve website functionality.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on contract performance (service delivery), legitimate interests (website security and improvement), consent (analytics cookies where enabled), and legal obligation where applicable under Korean law.
5. Retention
Contact form data is retained for twelve months unless an engagement follows. Client register records are retained for seven years after final delivery unless you request earlier deletion of non-legal data. Financial records follow statutory retention periods.

7. International Transfers
Primary data storage is in the Republic of Korea. If we use processors outside Korea, we ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable requirements.

We use encrypted storage for digital summaries, access controls on office systems, and physical security for bound registers in our custody during preparation.
9. Third Parties
We do not sell personal data. Processors may include email hosting and payment processors bound by confidentiality agreements. Analytics providers, if enabled after cookie consent, receive anonymised usage data.
10. Children
Our services are not directed at individuals under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
We update this policy as practices change. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
